Having trained in the UK, Trystan has practiced in London, Johannesburg, and now in Sydney Australia.
Previously Trystan has managed multi-disciplinary clinical and rehabilitation teams, consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, general practitioners and psychiatric nursing staff, with specific focus on mental health and addiction.

His specialised background in addictive and clinical behavior has contributed significantly to such rehabilitation programs.

Due to Trystan’s geographically varying work history, he has extensive experience within clinical psychology with exposure to the issues of post apartheid South Africa working with adolescence and the poverty enclaves of England.

During Trystan’s time in South Africa he was involved in youth work, for an AIDS orphans charity. His work focused on team building and social inclusion, using his psychological background and sports focus, with some of the most disadvantaged teenagers in the South African townships. The results from such projects were very positive, with the groups acquiring such skills as anger management, improved communication, and impulse control, to name but a few.

Trystan specialises in Addiction and Substance Abuse

As a Clinical Psychologist with internationa specialising in the treatment of addictive behaviours, both on an individual and group basis, Trystan uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as the foundation of his practice.

CBT has a proven track record in the treatment of depression, anxiety and anger management.

Trystan has joined with Change Training and Life Counselling based in Parramatta and provides courses for Job Services Australia including Jobfind, MTC, Employment Plus, Max Employment and LETS.

Trystan has also provided services for DHL, Gypsum, Dimension Data and other corporate entities
